What is a project?

A project is a collection of people who have access to a collection of contributions.

How can I start a new project?

Go to your dashboard, click on start a new project and input a name of the project into the title field.

How do I edit project preferences?

If you're an administrator of the project, you can click on the edit tab in the nav bar.

What is the difference between a project administrator and a project member?

Project Administrators can add/remove members and publish project pages and contributions within those projects.

What does it mean if the project page is private?

Only the members of the project have access to the project page. Private contributions shared with that project are always only accessible to project members and nobody else.

What does it mean to affiliate a project with a group page?

A link to that project will show up on the group page.

How can I add new people to a project?

If you're an administrator, you can add new people by clicking on the "Edit link" in the nav bar, scrolling down and clicking the "Invite new members link" You can then input names of Orwik users or emails of people who are not users into the dialog. The invited people will have to accept the invitation, after which point, they will become members of the project and have access to private contributions in that project.

How can I remove people from a project?

If you're an administrator, you can remove members by following the "Edit" link the dialog box and clicking "remove" next to the member's name. The access to private contributions in that project will be revoked.

How can I remove a contribution from a project page?

If you're an administrator you can click "Remove from project" next to the name of the contribution on the project page.

How can I remove myself from the project?

Click "Leave" link on the green toolbar. After confirming, you will loose access to the private contributions in that project.

Who can see the private contributions shared with my project?

Only the members of that project and anyone else that contribution is shared with.
